SONY 80 MINS

Hello all..im new to this board. I recently bought some SONY 80 MINUTES cd-r in a 50 pack spindle. Im not sure who the manufacturer is, since i know that Taiyo Yuden is the best...

I also read that "usually, then the cds say it's made in taiwan, it's a no name manufacturer"...something to that effect. I tried running the cdidentifier program, but it couldnt read the cd..prolly becuase it's not compatible with my cd writer. on the spindle, it only says it's manufactured in taiwan. Sony Electyronics Inc. or Sony of Canada Ltd.

does anyone know whether these are manufactured by a high quality manufacturer like Taiyo Yuden? On the site, it says that Sony cds are only Manufactured by them and Mitsubishi...is it possible that it may be manufctured by Ritek too?? Please help me with this problem..i never knew how big of a difference the manufacutred was...i just always thought of the brand name..and if the brand was good, then the quality must be good.
