cda format

can anyone tell me the program to copy this sort of data.
It is used in karaoke machines to display lyrics and play music tracks at the same time.
I would be most grateful for any help.

the .cda format.
I downloaded an mp3 music file and burnt it to a blank disk using CDRWIN. It translated these files to .cda format automatically. They play in my hifi systems just fine.

I was wondering if you had worked this out as I can't find how to do it. Also I am looking for someone to swap discs once I have worked out the method. Where are you? I am in Midlands UK. The format is CD+G as far as I know.

I don't know this for sure, but I think your writer has to be able to burn CD+G, the same way as it may or may not be able to handle CD-TEXT.

In CDRWIN 3.8a, go to your writer's settings - you'll be informed about your writer's features.

You need a half-decent PC to burn MP3 music back to .CDA files on-th-fly; Nero 5.03 and Easy CD Creator 4.02 can do it. Using a Cyrix 333+ (slow), I can only burn at 4x. But if you decompress MP3 files first, you can burn at whatever speed you wish.

All the best
