Why Can't Conquest:Frontier Wars be Copied ???

I have tried all sorts of ways to Copy Conquest: Frontier Wars, and i have had no success. I have tried CloneCD and other programs like it. The CD can be Burned, but won't run the game. If you know of anyway i can get my Copied Version of the game to work please let me know.

I made a Semi-working copy, I have a plex.12/10/32A burner. First I used clonecd, made a read to image file, checked boxes 1,2,4,5. Then after that write to Image file.............works, but only can load game from my burner. My other copies that didnt work, work, but you got to load game useing the original disk, or the copy that works in your writer, then eject, put a copy that would not load the game, then takes over from there and runs the game.......must games dont work that way.
