Colin McRae Rally 2, 1.09 no-cd patch problem

Hi, i just updated the game to v1.09, but when i try to run the .exe i downloaded it says, "not a valid win32 app", ive tried downloading the patch from 3 different servers, also tried both US and English version of the patch but get the same error, any clues guys?

Are you using Win2K?
These fixed exes are created with unSecuROM, and unSecuROM is incompatible with Win2K.

I shouldn't bother with them anyway, they DO NOT WORK!!
