CloneCD and SD2

Is the latest version of CloneCD still able to make 100% copies of Safe Disc 2 protected disks?
I used a older version of CloneCD 2.05 something and was able to copy SD2 just fine, and Iīve now upgraded to latest version. Iīve heard rumors that the newer versions are not copying it correctly true or false?

Thatīs bullshit - all CloneCD versions can copy SD2, itīs a question about the writer you use, not about the software - any software being able to write RAW data in DAO (e.g. CDRWin) can copy SD2 with a īgoodī writer.

Ok, I just thought that if the companies have been on them, they might have added some routines in the newer versions to prevent SD2 from copying correctly. All is well then since my writer is able to copy it flawlessly, at least with the old version of CloneCD that I used. I know that some newer firmwares for some CD-Rīs however arenīt able to, which is a reason not to upgrade the firmware.
Just had to clear some doubts before I ####t wasting CDīs backuping Dune Emperor...
