Help!!with Soldier of Fortune

I recently bought a new video card and Soldier of Fortune came with it.When i put it into my cr rom it says"D:\is not accessable system is not ready"I was told that there is a security code on the disc that older cd roms can't find or run.Is there anyway to crack this code,I can't just go out and buy this game anymore because you can't find it in Canada anymore...Thanks to anyone who can help...(P.S...I'm a newbie to all this stuff)
