How to lengthen the filenames in Nero

Trying to back up B&W but cannot because Nero shortens the length of the filenames and B&W won't recognise them

Is there any other program i can do it with or if there is a way to get nero do it is well apreciated

before you move the post, i tried the software forum and got no reply

I didn't backup B&W but I sometimes use NERO.

How did you back it up? Just follow the instructions on this site.

And btw, in Nero you should ##### the box Iso-Level2 under file-options. Otherwise files as well as dirs only have dos-format (8 Chars + 3). Go ahead (a pun!) and ##### the boxes where it says iso-restrictions. ##### both boxes there (path-depth and more than 255 chars in pathname). You only have to reset these options if you want to be sure that your backup is compatible with DOS and Win 3.1.

As I own the german version only, I don't know the correct option-names in the eng. version.

all i did was copy CD contents to a temp dir, and burned that using NTI CD-maker

then i applyed the no cd crack from gamecopyworld

then copy the audio/music folder from the CD to the same directory on the HD and i got music to play aswel

thats it

I know, you have to do it that way (i.e. tempdir, patch, burn). I only wanted to tell you the correct setting in NERO, as I don't know whether you are a newbie or not.

That's all.

The main thing is, that your backup works, right ??
