Red Alert Backup CD

I got a backup cd of RA2. I can go through and enter the serial number and the path but when it
comes time to write the files I am getting a the following error:
Error has occorred in creating a file on destination drive. You get a
option to continue but doing so doesn't copy the files. Any ideas?
