CDRwin Won't write
I'm having a problem getting cdrwin to write.
It can read the disc fine. So far I've only got it to save a cue sheet. But when I go to write the cd, all it does is spin the disc in the cd-rw on and off and just ruins the cd. The only thing I could think to be wrong is that i don't have any SCSI bus transporters installed. Would this cause the problem? I'm not even sure what the transporter would do. |

Well you havent really told us enough. CDRWin needs ASPI layers to interface between itself and the BIOS. They are downloaded from ####://www.goldenhawk.com and this version is also compatible with other uses for ASPI.
If Windows sees the drie, then the bus side of it is installed properly. We'd need to know what burner, what reader and confirmation that you are not running a cracked version of CDRWin (that one first please, because that causes most grief if it's not ASPI) |

It's not cracked. I used a an unlock key.
I'm using a COMPAQ CRD-8322B reader, and a SONY CD-RW CRX100E writer. I hope that's what your lookin for. I tried downloading those layers but the site wasn't working. I have version 3.8A of cdrwin Quote:

Hi stingyone, did you purchase the unlock key or get it from a warez site?

All is well. I got it to write.
I think the problem was that my reader couldn't read sub-channel data. Cause when a disc did come out, it was blank. So I just use the cd-rw as both my reader and writer. I just used cue sheets. |
