when you make the image what did call we can't help you find it but we can help you to patch the game.
you made a image with cdrwin you call the file something c:\game.bin or c:\whateveryouwhat.bin but you got to remember what you call it |

CRAM, the .bin file is created when you burn the image of the PSX game to your hard drive with CDRWIN... If you haven't already gotten CDRWIN you will need to in order to patch it. So after you've got it click the 3rd picture which is extract disk/sectors and a new window pops up.. Click Disk image/cuesheet at the top, select your reader, and for image filename, name it the same as your disk your burning.. (like madden 2001 on psx is name Madden_2001) most say SLU_002933 or some number like that so just open up my computer and see what the disk says in the drive it's in and name it that.. Just remember where your saving it to so you will now know where your .bin file will be.. Then make sure you ##### mark RAW AND MCN/ISRC and IGNORE on read errors.. The rest are set to AUTO and then click start.. You may want to set read retry count to 2 or 3 unless the disk is in good condition..That's it.. When done, your .bin and .cue file is created.. Browse PPF o Matic to your .bin file and the .ppf file(which is the patch you downloaded) and click patch!! Your done! Just use FIREBURNER TO burn back to disk which you can get at ~####://www.elaboratebytes.com.... You can use CDRWIN but make sure you didn't use a fake serial number or it will burn a nice beer coaster..With CDRWIN, you would click the first picture which is RECORD DISK and then on the next window click LOAD CUESHEET,, browse to your cuesheet and select your burn speed(no more than 4x unless you have a new burner..I burn at 12x and never a problem with mine) and click BURN .. you've just created a patched PSX game. Now if you live in the US then you will always want the patches that say for NTSC as PAL is for Europe based playstation consoles and JAP is for Japanese.. Not very many games require patching unless you want trainers(cheats) or something.. Snowboarders 2001 needs one for example and the patch is a NTSC/PAL selector. When putting it in your playstation, it starts up and it will ask you "PUSH O for NTSC or X for PAL".. Push the button for the console you have. If your not sure look on the bottom and underneath the model number it will say either NTSC or PAL.. Hope this helps and good luck!

Forgot the settings for FIREBURNER...
Open FIREBURNER.. Select Visual cue burner/Binchunker. On the new window RIGHT click and select LOAD TRACKS FROM CUE. Browse to your .cue file and slect it.. Then RIGHT CLICK again on the data loaded and go to BURN/TEST BURN.. On the new window, your Writer should be slected and UN##### Test burn,Write 12 and Multisession.. The rest remain #####ed and just click burn!! That's it.. I always read with CDRWIn and burn with fireburner as to not worry about making coasters.. again,, hope this helps you (in my previous post I said for CDRWIN LOAD CUESHEET.. this is your .cue file you'll need to browse too just to not confuse you...) |

The worst you could do by continueing is ruin another disk. If the patch didn't run right then you might have the wrong version of patch for your type of playstation.. First off.. Where do you live? If you live in the U.S.A. then you would want the NTSC patch. If you live in Europe you will want the PAL patch. Let me know which game your trying to patch and I'll find out which one you need. Sometimes you can still patch the game even if it says it's the wrong file size. The only way to find out if it works is try it.. Like I said, you'll just be 1 disk less if it doesn't work. then back to the drawing board.. Get the Gameshark CD too at megagames under PSX utilities as it's very useful for bypassing MOD chip protected games.. This is in the form of .bin and .cue so use cdrwin or fireburner to burn that one as well. LMK if you still need some help!
