Utility Disc necessary?? / Ist die Utility Disc notwendig??

Hi guys!!
I've got a problem! I'd like to copy ps2 games and only see always in the net that i have to own teh utility dsic!! Is this right? Where can i get it from?? or what can i do without it?

Ich würd gern die PS2 Games kopieren! Doch ich seh immernur dass man die Utility Dsic dafür brauch die nur bei den ersten japanischen modellen dabei war! Kann man die denn auch woanders herbekommen oda geht'S auch ohne diese disc??

So far as I know, the Utility Disk is for Jap PS2s which can boot from it or from a licensed game. PAL PS2s did not come with a utility disk and only boot from a licensed game.

To sensibly play PS2 copies, you need a mod-chip the instructions for which tells you the licensed game to buy from which to boot before you insert the PS2 copy.
