Newbie needs help!

Can somebody please help me, I have tried patching a copy of LMA manager 2001 without success. I used CDRWIN to copy the CD onto my hard drive abd used PPF o matic to patch the game and then copied the patched copy onto disc again using CDRWIN, yet when I put into my PSX the game freezes at the playstation logo at the beginning of the disc. What have I done wrong?

do you have a mod chip? sounds like you did everything correctly except you need a Mod chip to run a burnt PSX game....www.psxtune.com sent me mine and it works fine

It could be the disk you burned it on, Maybe u burned a bad copy or the disk u burned it on got scratched up. If the game hangs during the Psx logo then it could mean that the Psx cant read the disk. Try burning another copy or createing an image on ur hd and burning it that way
