Ripping DVDROM could be possible!

There are some texts that I got from GameCopyWorld that involve copying the Data from a cd to HDD and re-compile them using Nero or CDRWIN to make a CD-XA Mode 2 Image file...ready for burning...Could it be possible to backup a DVDROM game using this method and Substitute the Movie files with Smaller or Dummied files to make the game small enough to fit on a CDR???

Will try this method on my copy of XGames SNow. and let you know!!
