can u burn PS2 games with a regular burner and CD-R

I am wondering if i can make a back up copy of my PS2 game with a hp-cdwriter plus 9100 and a regular memorex CD-R?? Will the game fit or do i needa special CD-BURNER?? I already know how to burn the CD's with CDR WIN and CD Clone (kinda). can anyone help me?

yep, u can copy a ps2 just like you would any other psx game. Just make sure that the game u r copying is an actual cd (has a blue/purple bottom) and not a DVD (has a silver bottom).

If u have a NEO 2 chip then u should be able to make straight off copies with CDRWIN or CD-CLONE, but if u r using the ps2 swap trick (www.megagames.com) then the games will need patching using CDRWIN. Again u can get the patches and a load of copying tutorials from www.megagames.com.

but yes, u can copy ps2 games with your regular burner and memorex cds. I use memorex for all my psx games and they work fine.

Hope that helps.
