DVD Games - Copying to DVD
O.K. I have a PS2, it's chipped and it's playing anything on CD I want it too, trouble is I want most of the games that are on DVD. I have seen DVD RAMS for sale for about £300, can I copy from DVD to DVD using a DVD RAM and if so how much is the media and what software is the best?

DVD's are still pretty costy and its pretty pointless getting a DVD burner - take a look at this equation to see why:
average playstation game costs: £40 the DVD-RAM u saw cost: £300 £300 / £40 = 7.5 (but lets round it up to 8) Cost of a DVD (i have no idea how much they are, this is just a guess): £10 £10 * 8 = £80 so £80 / £40 = 2 Total number of games u need to copy b4 u r getting ne benefits from buying a DVD-RAM = ***10 games.*** Although that isn't too bad, it would probably be better to stick to copying CD based Games and just take better care of your DVD games ![]() Besides, if u find that u r unable to bypass any protection or even copy the games with ur DVD RAM, u r buggered. Ripping DVDs to CDR may be a better option, but as of yet i don't think that there is a modchip that actually supports it. But that might be something worth looking into ... l8er 4nim4l (The mathematician)
