Psx games Drivers 2 or any multiple disk psx games
Hi! Here's my problem. Drivers 2(us version) is a multiple game (2 disks) and seems not to be protected against MOD-Chip. I burned the 2 disks and was able to play the game without any problems. SURPRISE, when they ask me to insert disk2 (i've had finished the first one and really enjoy it), I put the cd in, the psx load and........ PLEASE INSERT SONY DISK appears. I know the modchip is used only on boot (power on/off) but i can't boot with disk 2. He's there a way to patch the second disk or every multiple disks games or the same? Can somebody tell me a way to play the second disk. Do I need a game enhancer?
Can't wait to finish that great game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! waiting for help thanx |

on most of the mod chips you have only 5sec to put in disc 2 and close the lid some mod chips will not let you play 2 disc games so try putting in games super fast and closing the lid

There are three common reasons for this and Backitup got one of them, you could try changing the disc over a little faster (within 5 sec) as stealth code has a 5 second timeout when the cd lid is first opened. You have 5 seconds to change to the second disc and close the lid before the mod chip powers down.
The other two reasons are a little more difficult to sort out and both involve a re installing your mod chip or installing a new one. 1, The mod chip you have installed has stealth code but is installed incorrectly (The wrong diagram has been used or not enough wires connected). Solution: Re install the mod chip using a different diagram 2, The mod chip itself has an early version of the stealth code where the 5 second timeout didnt actually work, therefore the chip was only active during the first boot after powerup and then turns off. The only way to reactivate the chip was to switch off and on the unit again (no good for double disc games). Solution: Unfortunately you need a new mod chip installed to correct this one. Trying to decide whether its due to an incorrect install or duff code in the chip is not easy, and you may be better off just having your PSX re moded. Sorry for the bad new's but i personnaly think your trouble is due to one or both of the above. Please check my profile and email me if you need any further help, i would need to know your psx model number.
