i cant belive no one will help me with patching crash team racing

help me please, my son is driving me mad about this game i cant get the patch to work for the pal protection. The game locks after the naughty dog logo appears and when the characters come out of the box. HELP

patches used so far are from psxcopy world

Protection Fix & PAL/NTSC Selector EURO/PAL 421KB (KAL)

Crash Team Racing Protection Fix EURO/PAL 327KB ( PDX )

same problem with crash bash, used the right protection patch and it din't boot up. i hope someone can help us.

I've used the pdx patches and cdrwin for both crash team racing and crash bash and both work fine. Cant understand why not working for you. I still have the patch for crash bash on my system If you e-mail me I'll send it to you,assuming that it is the u.k. pal version you need.

Paradox patch worked for me ok.

Same here. I used both paradox patches for CTR and CRASH BASH. CRASH BASH was the first game i cracked and had no problems. If you need either game let me know....RYANS23**********COM

try copying bin file to hard drive with CDRWIN.THEN PATCH THE BIN FILE.then record using fireburner .this worked fine for me.made about 40 coasters before was told how to do this .

I believe I've already mailed you with the solution. Here it is again :-

"Many people have posted regarding difficulties in backing up protected psx games eg
Crash Bash using Philips based burners such as Freecom, Traxdata, Iomega etc.
I have a Freecom 8x4x32 and suffered the same problems - until now !
Use Cdrwin to create a bin file and patch it as usual.
Get a copy of Fireburner.
Run it and select "visual cue burner"
Drag the cue file you made with Cdrwin into the pane.
Right click and select "burn/test burn"
Select TAO (not DAO - this is important).
Burn your first ever copy of Crash Bash, CTR etc."
