PX2 diagram help?

I just recieved a mod chip from modchip.com for the playstation 2 (beta version). It didn't come with instructions on installation (connecting points). The pics on their website don't have my main board. It's a NTSC SCPH-30001. Would you happen to have instructions for this installation?
Also, do I need one of those utility disks to make it work for backups? You're help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you know that you need Unreal Tournament For PS 2, it will work as a Boot CD. read the instructions on modchip.com
