Legend of Dragoon & VGS Problems

Hey there everyone!! I just have a few questions to those who have finished LOD with either the PAL or NTSC version...

1. Did you have any problems playing it on either of the disk?
2. Are you using the NTSC or the PAL release of this game?
3.If you have succcessfully played any finished the game with VGS, could you play a certain part for me?

Problem:
My main problem is when I come across this part in CD 4 where my characters are rolling up a brown area with clouds flying upwards, It will keep on showing "Rose" slowly rising up the screen (takes about 5 min) and when she does disappear off the screen it continues showing the brown background and clouds for hours and hours and still does not continue with the game...
