Help with game enhancer

Just picked up a game enhancer for my PSX and I can't play any copied games. I've been using Connectix v1.4.1 on my pc so I know the games work. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

You know how to load the game right? Put real game in turn on your psx when it stops spinning then you take it off and switch it with the backup. I'm sure you did. You might need to use a different game or maybe even a demo disk to load the game. I made a back up of Tony Hawks 2 and it only works with one of my demo disks for some reason. So you just might need to try all your real gamez.

I thought that was the point of getting this game enhancer with the mod chip. I've never been good at the swap trick. Any other suggestions, or should I just get a chip and solder it in my psx?

Just get the chip and have it in there all the time.

ok first of all you get the game enhancer so you don't have to mess with opening up your psx and maybe even messing it up. PLus the swap trick is Really Really simple anyone can do it. You have the real game in and you turn on your psx. The enhancers menu pops up. BTW the game enhancer doubles as a game shark. The disk will stop spinning and this is where you take it out and put in the back up. Then all you have to do is go to start game and it loads up. Very Simple! Since you already have the Game enhancer you don't have to go out and get the Mod chip because some games does detect the mod chip and they won't play.
