IPBIN4WIN help....
Ok I just recently bought a used DC but found out it was made Dec. 2000. So it can't read CDRs to backup my games.
I've been working on the fix found at MegaGames.com but I'm running into some trouble...and I think this is the problem.... To make it short, when using IPBIN4WIN I noticed the game I was backing up already had a IP.BIN file. When I tried to patch the "1st_read.bin" file it gave me a strange message...then gave a "invalid filesize" error. I thought maybe it was already set up ...because I had the IP.BIN already so I went through the rest of the steps up to the last one. Using the "Bin2Boot" program it says it can't locate "IP.BIN" which is on the ISO but its not reading it for some reason..... Anyways anyone else get their newer DCs to work? I've noticed some people saying their newer DCs work somehow....with the boot disc. I've tried this of course but it doesn't work....I did notice the boot disc only burns 3 .txt files? (I got the boot disc from several locations all with the same things...) Ok please help someone~ I would just ##### it in but where I'm from DCs are soldout everywhere. The closest place that has one around where I am is a 1 1/2hr drive...and they wouldn't look on the DC for the manufacture date
