Broadband game ripping

I know it's possible to rip DC games through it's own broadband modem.....but can it be done with a PC Broadband Cable Modem (BT is instance).......

you have to attach the Dreamcast Broadband Adapter to your PC's Network card (assuming your cable-modem attaches to a network card installed inside your PC.). You must have a crossover cable for this connection, or you must connect regular network cables to each device and connect them both to a hub.

If your cable-modem doesn't attach to your computer via a network connection (such as a USB cable-modem), you'll have to make sure you have a network card in your machine first.

Sadly my Bt Broadband Modem is the USB type and doesnt need a network card.
