Playing Burnt DC Games

I have DJ v3 and I tried to get DoA2 LE to work. I didnt change ANY settings at all and I had it set to CD Image to CD Recorder. So I ####ted to burn the CD. First time it came up, I got a scrolling text screen and when I hit the A button, the screen turned black and taht was it. The second time, under advanced, I changed one of the options to "mode 1". The second time the CD came out, whenever i booted it on my DC, I got to the CD player in DC. I hit back and went to play and it asked for my play disk, anyone know what's wrong? ???
