PS2 Backups Logo?!!

Guys, anyone has Idea on how to make/add/change the logo that appears in beginning of loading PATCHED PS2 games (If you use the swap trick/UP, you should see PARADOX, Patched By LOSER, logo..).

What file type is that logo should be?

Any details?

THANX

You need a Hex patcher. If you examine the PBPX file somewhere in the first 20 sectors you'll see the text. Provided you replace exactly the same characters (so that the CRC remains the same), then you can make it read what you like.

Presumably you could do the same with ASA Patcher or Universal Patcher and change the text it writes in there.

I've never tried the above but there's no reason for it not to work because I don't think there's any trap code put in by the patch writers.

Could you remind me of the following (as I've got some web speed problems in looking up your previous posts):

a) PS2 model
b) Type of installed modchip
c) Current boot method

As a partial answer to your question, you can't play PAL DVDs in the Jap PS2. So DVDRX (JAP) loaded behind the Utility Disk will play US DVDs.

Sure.
I've SCPH10000 NTSC JAP PS2
I've a SWAP-TRICK mod-chip wich opens the tray for me automaticlly after about 10 secs... (Before I get this mod, with my old 10000 I used to open it and swap the discs myself).

I'm using the Utility Disc ver 1.0, or Tekken Tag Tournamet (The only Original Game I've) as boot discs...
----------------
So, just US DVDs can be playable?! So, for PAL DVDs what can I do?

Thanx.

US & PAL DVD games (DVD-R backups) can be played if you boot with a larger TOC DVD game.

PAL DVD movies cannot be played on the Jap PS2
