which burner to buy???

I decided to go with the lite-on 24x10x40 burn proof model because I found it online through pricewatch for $83. I just couldn't turn it down, after I read a couple reviews on it. It got editors choice at one place. Unlike its younger 16x10x40 model which doesn't read data subchannels or whatever, this one does, and supposedly also makes working copies of software that uses safedisk 2 as protection, which the slower model doesn't either. Have to wait a few days for it to arrive but I'll post any problems. I would like to go with a plextor but I'm kind of on a budget here...gotta go cheap. Here are few reviews if anyone is in my situation and want a lot for a little...
