I'm currently using a Sony copier and a couple of people told me that one wasen't very good so when I get my new computer I'm going to give my Sony copier to my dad and get a new one.So can someone tell me which one to get Bestbuy has a Yamah CD copier for $199 with a $30 rebate and I'm not sure how much the Plextor copier is probably cheaper so which one should I get
I'm a happy owner of a Plextor 24/10/40TA, and between them I'd suggest for the Plerxtor....it's fully compatible with CloneCD and it can make perfect backups of safedisc 2 protected games which can run in every CD-Rom. With it I've been able to make perfect backups of every game I had and it works fine with Nero too. You can also consider the new LiteOn 24102b which is much cheaper ;-) and supports safedisc 2 protected games as well.If you want to use the new burner with CloneCD check this page ####://www.elby.org/CloneCD/english/index.htm and then the supported writers page. If you decide for the Plex, don't forget to download the latest firmware (1.02) at ####://www.plextor.be/English/technical/download.html , that fixes a better reading and writing.
Hope that this can help
