Hey Charlie,

i purchased my yamaha 2200ez today..... WORKS LIKE A Charm. i backed up several cd's Audio and data, that my old Ricoh would not let me backup. i used Nero (the software that it came with). i really would like to commend you guys for you all's advice. one last question, does CD clone 3.0 have any advantages or disadvantages over Nero 5.5.2.8 ?????

In my experience and that of two other friends, CloneCD seems to be much faster than Nero at copying VCD films and some PSX games.

I have Win98SE, Aspi 4.6 and I use Nero, Juggler, EasyCD Creator and CloneCD with no conflicts.

All the best :-)

Many copying programs have their place alongside each other (Nero, CDRWin, CloneCD).

Easy CD Creator does it in the missionary position. Forget it

Nero is good for audio, normal PC CDs and unprotected PS/PS2 games
CDRWin is best for CDs that need patching
CloneCD is best for everything except music compiles and patching

So if it's a case of whack-it-in-and-copy and to be 100% sure of all sub-channel data being copied, use CloneCD. CloneCD is also the best one to use for PS/PS2 games.
