That thread was the G-man himself. The Messiah Blue is unproven and looking at the install diagrams, I have some cause to worry. The pins are different from the normal Messia as regards the all important CD/DVD Controller.
So my advice is to stick with the real Messiah and follow the G-man's advice. If you want more details, please e-mail me at charlie_ps2**********com
