No - USB modchip is useless.

Put in an Origachip (www.origachip.com) or a Messiah (which you can get from me - e-mail me through my profile).

Cheapest solution of the above two is origachip - a very fine chip, uses a single swap with AR2.

The Messiah is better because it is fully no swap.
