OK, I have the same Traxdata 8432+ as you (with v2.2) , with this spec:
Cyrix 333+(3.5x75MHz..yes, it's a slow one!). Win98 v2. 150MB permanent swap file. 128MB PC-100 RAM. 20.5GB IBM hard drive: primary master. 24x Toshiba Cd-rom: secondary master. Traxdata 8432+: secondary slave. Nero 5.0.2.8......no luck with Dreamcast stuff, ok for rcacked PSX games. CloneCD 2.7.8.1....Can do Dreamcast or PSX stuff at 8x! Discjuggler 3.00.755 DTU....Can do self-boot Dreamcast stuff at 8x. Here's a couple of important factors to note with my copying success: 1. My Toshiba will do a FULL RAW read; I beleive the Traxdata will not. Due to my copying success I beleive it does RAW writing - but to what extent I don't know (i.e. it may not burn ALL protection systems). A quick fix therefore may be to look at CLonceCD's help file under Hardware Requirements, and purchase a cheap CD-ROM (ideally one made by Toshiba as they're recommended). 2. Try a different brand of media - there's always a minority of brands that just simply will not work well - Some Samsung discs play havoc with my writer. Still having trouble? Try a lower burn speed. 3. I think someone else mentioned this - chec_k your APSI layers. I use version 4.6. This is because some Adaptec sotware OVER-WRITES your ASPI layers, possibly with old/out-dated layers and hence you need to update your layers. I have the programs to both chec_k and update your layers if you wanna mail me. I can also post you a screen-grab of the boxes Iv'e chec_k ed in all my programs, to copy dics etc. [email protected] Good luck m8 :-) |
