I'm currently in the process of making most of my backups self-boot. For these, there's no problem. I just make my own ip.bin and it works fine. However, there are some games that I can't make self-boot because there's not enough free room on the cd. Ex: Ecco. This game takes up the entire CD. With only 4 megs free, there's not enough room to make it self-boot. If anyone knows a way around this, I'd love to know about it.
Also, I'm not able to change the ip.bin for Skies of Arcadia because it puts out read errors and I can't open any of the files. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to hear aobut it also.
What I need is a boot disk that's VGA compatible for the non-self boot games. I know they are out there, I just can't find any that work.
By the way, yes, I do take my DC into the living room on a TV to play these games for now. But why unhook my DC and carry it into another room where I have to hook it up again when I shouldn't have to?
I want a VGA compatible boot disk. Know of one?
