Anyone know the ins and outs of this one. I'm looking for a modchip so I can play PS2 backups and imports, also dvd-r's and cd-r's. The Meesiah is way too expensive. anyone know an alternative.

your only alternative is the Origa then. no others will play original imports, only origa and messiah.
