ANSWER: On most PS2s with Origa 1.25, it's just boot straight up like a Jap original. If it isn't on the 30000 then it's as per the DVDRX method.

Sometimes the cdr does boot up but the screen just shows black & white and very unstable. Is it because I am booting a pal game and my ps2 is ntsc. What can I do to make it work or I cannot play a pal game on an ntsc ps2 at all?
ANSWER: The PAL game will come out the back as a PAL signal. SO your TV is NTSC. Either the AV port is PAL compatible (I doubt it otherwise you wouldn't have the problem) or you can't play an original import without this problem. A PAL to NTSC convertor is expensive as is a new TV. You could play a patched CD backup.
