My Answer:
*Yes *Check the box before you purchase it, there will be a label and it should have the hardware revision number on it, anything but the one mentioned should be fine. *Yes?/Almost certain its only a read problem and nothing to do with write The Plextor is fine kit (I have one)and will backup almost anything bar Safedisc 2, but that will come.
