hi,
where can i buy a usbmod and does it work? and what kind og cd-r blanks do i use fore my backups? do i need to patch a cd game to make it work? thx fore any answer rgds glenn |

If you PS2 will support it forget about a USB mod and get a MESSIAH.....You'll LOVE IT!!!!!!

usb mod is unreliable and a pain in the ass overall. If you can get a messiah, definately go with one. Otherwise I suggest a no solder mod for us not-so-skilled soldering folk. Verbatim media tends to work best.

I would stay away from USB mods. They dont support dvdr backups or import originals.

if you read back through the posts, count how many "my usb mod doesn't work" posts there are, and then count how many "aren't messiah chips fantastic" posts there are.
do yourself a favour and get a messiah chip. mail charlie or dust and they will assist you.
