Help with Neo 2.5 DVD

I bought a neo 2.5 DVD key. I installed it and, once I turn it on, the lights change colors as it is specified in the intructions. The problem is that the CD tray is not ejected. The lights flash, but the tray does not open by itself.

Does anybody has an idea of what is wrong?

I use GS v2.x, PS2 v5 NTSC.

make sure the ribbon cable to the buttons did not get damaged.

What ever you do be VERY VERY careful, I tried fitting one of these babies and f*cked the whole station.
