Clear a few things up

Hi guys,

Just to clear up - The reason you can't play backed up games directly in a playstation is NOT because Clone CD can't read and write the errors onto a backup, but because when PSX games are made (pressed) sectors are put at the start (or end) of the CD which can only be pressed during manufacture. These sectors are out of the working range of any burner on the market which is why they can't be written. When a PSX boots it looks for these sectors and obviously can't find them on a backup - hence the mod chip/boot disc requirement.
