DVD-Key V's No Solder Mod

I previously had a V3 fitted with a Neo 2.2 mod chip. Now had to replace with a V5. I've seen the both the DVD-Key and no solder mod but what are the differences and which is best?

A new no solder mod has been released at www.chipzone.com. for v5, v6 and soon to be v4 consoles. With this chip you no longer need a gameshark to play PSX backups. The tray eject issue has also been corrected as well as the ability to play large toc rips.
