Booting DMC DVD-r
I cant seem to get DMC to boot, i am using the DMC demo disk and i have a US v5, R-mod, and GS 2 i have treid a few boot methods and i have no luck, if anyone has any success with that game please give me a hand, im gonna go bald soon.

PAL PS2 Consoles DVDr Booting Method
We can confirm that all NEO2.x owners using an AR2 v1.7 / 1.9 on a PAL console can boot DVDR games with a double swap with no patches and no problems 1) Turn on the ps2 with AR2 1.7 (holding down the ON/RESET) 2) Select Start Game (Still Holding ON/RESET) 3) Press EJECT (while still holding the ON/RESET button) and swap AR21.7 with DVD original 4) Press EJECT to close (Wait 10 seconds) 5) Then select WITHOUT CODES. Im still having no luck the tray doesnt open when i let go of reset my guess is because my chip is a no soder chip.

ok i did it and it worked, but after the first screen, the one that said "Press start to continue with defalt settings" or something like that but then it froze. And ever since when i hold the eject button down the lights on both the reset and eject buttons flash but the drive doesnt open. I have no idea what could have possibly happened i opened the system up and looked at the connedtions and made sure they were good, and all looks fine. Please help

Sounds like something is wrong with the chip. you may want to contact the seller for a exchange.
