DVD Newbie question
Is there any to staight copy a DVD with a burner, and be able to play it on PS2? When I say straight, I mean using an ISO image and possibly patching it. Not ripping it and changing files. I have made several attempts to copy, all have failed. I have the Gameshark. I would like to know, so I can take this DVD burner back if I do not need it.

As far as I'm aware, there is absolutely NO WAY that you can burn a DVD with a CD-R without ripping and converting!!! Thats why they can charge $800+ for a DVD Burner, but hey, you have one did you say...HELL, you're miles ahead of the rest of us peasants!!!
Otherwise to rip, I would use Smartripper and FlaskMPEG (my favourites) and pretty easy to get a grasp of

Hi!
There is a way... You can't just copy the DVD because the files on it are usually encrypted, what I would do if I were you: 1.Search on the Internet for more info (there is a program that helps you in creating your own DVD's... I can't remember the name, though ;( ) 2.Keep on trying! What I would suggest: Use a Decrypter like Smartripper and rip ALL files to your Harddrive, then burn them onto your DVD. (Never tried it myself!) Have fun and good luck, DB69 |
