Oddity With My V5 R-Mod

At least I know it's not just me (what was that about misery loving company?). I guess I'll go ahead and sell my old V1 then and take the risk for now.

Which reminds me: does anybody know for real if there's a V1 direct boot anywhere close on the horizon? I know we've all been hearing for months there'd be, but all I still see is 'V4 NTSC only' everytime I look. It's just that I'd really hate to get rid of my V1 only to find out in like a month there's a no-swap chip on the way and have to wait FOREVER for a V5 mod (however, after having been through all of this M-clone stuff with the rest of ya, I'm beginning to wonder if a V5 self-boot isn't more likely than a V1 model).
