shuld the ps2 sound noisy on cdr backups?

i am using the neo 2.2 and the ar2 cart
i was just wondering should the ps2 sound so noisy when using cdr backup disks as when you use dvd disks the drive is very quiet

and does this eventually knacker up your ps2 with the noise, it sound like the old dreamcast games where the drive had to search through the disk back and forwards?
or is it best using decent backup disks to advoid buring out the lens

yes it does , u should use good trends cdr
some low quality cdr would get stuck while spinning
and it not good for the laser either
