illegal track sector encountered

could anyone explain to me why, and how do i get that problem when using cdrwin to build an image of a*s2 disk. i even tried using nero but that tells me communication error when reading certain sections of the disk, and iso buster tells me read error at section 0 all the way through the disk. wondering if it's my generic dvd player.

If you put a DVD game into a DVD player that is recognised as a reader by CDRWin or Nero but you are trying to treat it ias a CD, then this a symptom of the problem.

If it is a CD, then there might be an error like a scratch.
