okay.. Call me a Noob but, I'm confused.

I just followed the links to the file, and got flt-d2p.ace
um... INstructions say to replace the discipl2.exe with the one from the executable archives.
is this .ace file supposed to be an executable self extraction, or am I supposed to rename it?
just for fun, I tried renaming to .exe and I'm told it's not an Application.

Could someone let me know what the next step is here.. I'm lost.
