CD burner for Clone CD
Hi there all,
Thnx for taking time to read... ok now lets start. I am wanting to use Clone Cd to make backups but my CD burner wich is a Matshita CD-R CW-7502 is not going to do the job. So i would like to no if anyone could suggest a few burners that are best to use with Clone CD for i want to make backup copies of my PC games that i have and will be buying laters. I have seen available in my area the Lite-on model:LTR-24102b and also the model LTR-32123s. I think these two are same just one is a newer model with slight faster speed. Could anyone comment on these two models if they are a good choice to use against the protections on the games? I no there is heaps to choose from so i would like to hear about the ones that are a better choice to use to get a close as possible 1-1 copy. I will be using a celeron 733htz with 256 ram on a seagate 20.4gb 7200rpm hard drive with win 98se. Thx for any info for this is my first time to post so please take it ez on me 8) Request sent all way from downunder in Perth Western Australia... |

ltr 24102b is the answer...It can do the new sd2 v51.xxxx while a selective few others can do it..

It sickens me to advice you to get get Lite-On cos I love Plextor. But the plexi is having too many problems with the newest version of SD2 for me, after spending a bomb to get it!!! From what I hear, the 32X Lite-on will do all the protections the 24X can.
