IL2 - safedisk 2 (I need help)

I downloaded "unsafedisk" but im not the brightest lad when it comes to disk protection, I need help... I just dont know how to do it.

any other programs that may be easier to use would be welcome.

As you may have noticed, there are several different versions of Safedisk 2. If you want to know which version to use you could download a program like Safedisk Analyser or somethin, but it's easier to do trial and error (there are only four or five), start with the latest version.

First, copy all the dll's on the cd to a temp directory. (To find all the dll's type into the Find box "*.dll" without the speech marks. THen select all (ctrl+A) then copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) them into the temp directory.
Next copy the main exe into the directory as well (this is the exe you use to start up the game - make sure you don't copy the shortcut to it into the directory)

Now start up the Unsafedisk Dumper and select the main exe. This will create a new file called "whatever.data.bin"
Now start up Unsafedisk Rebuilder and select the new file that was just created.
This will create the "fixed exe". Now rename this file to the correct filename.

Now to make a copy of the CD:
Copy all of the contents of the CD to a temp directory.
Replace the original exe with the new "fixed" exe.
Burn back to CD-R with the SAME LABEL AS THE ORIGINAL.
