I copied the CD's Using Blindwrite v1.103 on a TEAC CD-W54E Burner
They install fine and play fine. AMD 700 256 MB RAM Geforce 2 MX 400 Aureal 3d Vortex Sound Its most likely your burn didn't go as well as you think, otherwise check for patches / readme's for any known problems with your hardware. Do the original cd's work with your hardware?
