deltforce landwarrior3

i have a backup copy of deltaforce landwarrior3,whenever i try to install it i get " a device is not working on this system" error message or "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer please contact system administrator" does any one know how to get round this or what is causing this.thanks
