Max Payne was by far the most difficult game I have ever copied and I have made a bunch! Ofcourse I was using an Acer Drive with CloneCD version 3.X so I had the best of both worlds but my first trial was a coaster because recording speed "Had" never been an issue before...what I had to do for just the game alone was reduce my image and recording speed down to 4X and everything was fine. I also noticed that it was picky with some CD/R's. I "Had" always used Memorex with full success but now I have swithched over to TDK and have never had an issue. One thing you should try is BetaBlocker if you haven't already. You will create your image with CloneCD and drop all 3 files into BetaBlocker one at a time and execute BetaBlocker. This might save you the grief of buying a new CD Burner. You can find the program here "I think" or at www.cdrinfo.com make sure you get the English one if you don't speak German.

Good Luck,

DT
