Oh no...another newbie.
Hey guys,
I don't own a PS2 however I do own a burner (Sony CRX160E). A few questions which I couldn't find the answer to anywhere else (sorry): 1. Do you need a DVD-Rom drive to read ALL PS2 games or just the DVD format ones? 2. Is there a list on the net where it tells which games are DVD and which are CD? 3. I only have 1 available 5.25" bay so I use the CDRW for everything. So can I still burn PS2 games? Thanks guys. Cheers |

Answer You need a DVD-ROM for just DVD Format Games 2. Is there a list on the net where it tells which games are DVD and which are CD? Answer Not that I have come accros but on the back of the box of the original PS2 games it tells you what format the game is. Q3. I only have 1 available 5.25" bay so I use the CDRW for everything. So can I still burn PS2 games? Answer Yes, but you will only be able to burn games that are CD Format. Check out www.psxcopyworld.co.uk for guides on burning. The software I have had success with is Nero Burning Rom and Clonecd. Other people have had success with CDrwin. The best media for writning onto is Verbatim. Hope this helps Bud Sim |

Don't know yet...probably, but they're still a little pricey over in Oz. I was thinking of waiting until the X-box comes out and see what it can do.
Thanks for the help. Cheers |
